His Grace, Archbishop Mallavarapu Prakash D.D., the Archbishop of Visakhapatnam, paid a friend-ly visit to Don Bosco Navajeevan on November 5th, 2013. The staff and students gave him a cordial welcome. The students made him feel at home with songs and friendship band. Archbishop Prakash was much impressed with the students and staff, and particularly the institution's family spirit. The students had the opportunity to meet the bishop and ask ques-tions. His grace, interacted with all the students, asked them about their life at Don Bosco Navajeevan. Later on addressing the staff and students present, Bishop Prakash said that he had come to Don Bosco, because he admired the work done by the Salesians for the poor and abandoned youth.

"I am greatly happy to talk to the students. I feel the warmth and hope, and I feel like investing my faith in you because you are going to make this global village a better place for all people," said His Grace. "You have a great opportunity in history to make it a better world."

In his concluding words, Fr. Thomas SDB the Director of the institute, acknowledged and appreciated the unfailing support by His Grace towards the project. Speaking further, he said that his visit spread smiles on the faces of our kids. The director voiced the words of gratitude on behalf of the institute to His Grace Pra-kash for his friendly visit.
