“The Ultimate measure of Man is not where he stands in the moments of Comfort and convenience but where he stands in times of Challenge and Controversy”. Covid 19 the pandemic of the century has taught the man that there is nothing precious than life itself and Man has not yet able to live without the support the other. The Vizag Navajeevan Bala Bhavan Society was standing in forefront to reach out to the poor and marginalized people of the society.  We could tell to hundreds of people that we are there for you and we will overcome this too. We extended our services to the most vulnerable people around us, Slum dwellers from Lorrypetta, Thattichetlapalem, Akkayapalam, Kancherapalem and Jalaripetta received our regular help and support.  Our bridge School children from Beach Blossom and Suraksha were provided daily lunch along with provisions and stationeries. We also provided provisions for Transgender persons and Sex workers, one of the most marginalized groups of people in the society. Another area of focus was to create awareness on Covid 19 and provide safety measures.  We extended our services to the departments of GVMC, Railway, Police and Government run Shelter homes by providing Masks and sanitizer. Pandemic of the century has once again taught the humanity that no man can live as an Island. One of the most vulnerable groups of people who really struggled through was migrants. Losing their jobs they became most helpless away from their home lands. We could see the pathetic travel of many of them, thrashed their hopes and dreams walking along the National high ways. We consoled them and accompanied them by providing drinking water and Meals. We appreciate all those who helped us to the help the poor.We are grateful to the people who have been with us during this time of Pandemic. All the donors, friends, Well wishers, volunteers and collaborators who went out of their way to be with the needy. May God bless them for their generosity.
