“Man does not live on bread alone but from every word that comes from the mouth of God”

The Vizag Navajeevan Bala Bhavan Society cares not only for the physical and intellectual growth of a child but also, we care for the Spiritual development of a Child. For the holistic growth of a person along with physical, mental, emotional, intellectual needs the spiritual needs also must be met. Cory Booker rightly says that “You can’t have physical transformation until you have a Spiritual transformation”. Keeping in mind the importance of one’s holistic growth we have blessed a new prayer hall or a meditation room on 21.11.2018 at Sabbavaram Bosco Illu. So that the Children may have a space for themselves in silence.

The prayer room was blessed by His Grace Most Rev. Arch Bishop Mallavarapu Prakash DD, Arch Bishop of Visakhapatnam. In his message to children he said that you should love one another and care for each other. Love must be the foundation of life. And reminded that along with physical needs its also equally important to meet the spiritual needs. Rev. Fr. Joseph Anithottom, the Parish Priest of Sabbavaram, Fr. Rayanna SDB from Kondadaba Seminary, St. Brigitine sisters from Sabbavaram were also present along with the staff and students of Navajeevan. Fr. Neelam Ratnakumar SDB, the director said that the prayer room is a spiritual editing lab, where in we edit ourselves before God in order to be better human beings. He thanked His grace for coming and blessing the Occasion. He also appreciated the hard work of Fr. PK Jose SDB, the administrator for actualizing the dream of a prayer room.  After the blessing everyone was invited for the fellowship meal.
