The DB Tech staff of both Vizag City and Sabbavaram was present. The members felt greatly enriched by the interactive animation and the cordial fellowship.

The programme commenced at 11:00 AM with the lighting of the lamp. Fr Thomas, in his welcome speech, reiterated the dream of Don Bosco to empower youth, and through DB Tech provide employment opportunities to 20 million youth before 2020.  Fr Sojan, stressed on the importance of learning good English and making the most of the opportunities offered during the 3-month training programme. He also spoke of the need for planning stating that 'failing to plan is planning to fail'.

Frs Thomas and Ratna, in an innovative manner, described the role of youth in family and society. Using video clips he enumerated the impact media creates in the lives of individuals and families.  He exhorted the trainees to learn to understand the real 'language of the movies' and learn appropriate and healthy values from the same. Besides, he also spoke of relationships, family values, love, sacrifice, dignity and change. Fr Madanu Rayappa, from Narsipatnam too wished all the very best for the future.

The post-lunch session was filled with games and activities which were thoroughly enjoyed by the participants.  At the end of the day, the members felt greatly enriched not merely by the inspiring messages they heard but also by the lovely fellowship and rapport that exists between all at DB Tech.  The whole day with all its variety of activities and the location itself (Sabbavaram) was another icing on the cake! Looking forward for more of such interactive and enriching programmes, the participants returned home.
