Fr Raminedi Balaraju, the Provincial of the Salesian Province of Hyderabad, visited Skill training, Bosco Tech, Bosco Illu, and Beach Blossom School at Vizag on 3rd– 4thMarch, 2015. During his interactive session with the second batch of 'Retail and Sales' students he stressed on the need to grow in self-confidence, mastery of English and a certain proficiency in computers.
Recalling the life of Don Bosco, he encouraged the students to make the best of opportunities that come their way, just as Don Bosco did. He stated that in this bicentenary year of the birth of Don Bosco, the Don Bosco Navajeevanaims at helping young people realize their dream and become worthy and competent citizens.
Interacting with the students in the skill training centers, he elaborated that attributes that every trainee must learn. He explained about the significance of self-introductionand invited few of the trainees to introduce themselves. He was very much pleased as many of the trainees introduced themselves without stage fear. He also elucidated his views about marketing and gave suggestions to the trainees about how to face market. He described the qualities of a good sales person and how the trainees must inculcate those qualities in order to survive in the market. There was also a role play conducted by him which exhibited the different attributes of both sales persons and customers. The trainees were very much pleased by his visit as he discussed all the possible ways in which a person can grow better in his life.
Fr Provincial appreciated Fr Thomas, the Director of Navajeevan and the staff for reaching out to many young people in need, successfully.
