A massive destruction has befallen Andhra Pradesh in the second week of October, 2014. Our State is grappling with the aftermath of Cyclone Hudhud following extensive damage to infrastructure, crops and loss of livelihoods.
DB Tech students of Bosco Tech, Sabbavaram have gone to Hudhud cyclone hit villages and few other areas in Vizag for relief operations on 3 November. The students had done so many good things, including removing the green debris, removed the uprooted trees and gave awareness on prevention of communicable diseases. Fr. Thomas Thoyittil, Director of Don Bosco Navajeevan and Fr, N. Ratna, Assistant Director have visited those areas and lauded the DB Tech students help.
DB Tech students cleaned the debris inside the premises of Bosco Illum as they take part in a cleanliness drive part of Hudhud relief measures. Fr. P. Arul Das, DB Tech, Province Incharge steered the relief work with DB Tech students at Sabbavaram.
