Don Bosco Navajeevan Vizag distributed Uniforms, Bags and Books to 23 underprivileged children of Visakhapatnam slums and fishermen’s children, under the banner ‘Back to School/College.’ Chief Guest Rev Fr. Thomas the director gave away the school bags, books, uniforms and stationery to the children in the presence of students and their parents.

Addressing on the occasion, Fr. Thomas said that, today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders and hence Don Bosco Navajeevan aims at reaching those children who are denied their basic right to education due to incapacity to afford for education.  Every child can be nurtured into a better individual if the right opportunities are provided at the right time. Fr. Thomas urged the parents and staff in charge to take care of these rising buds as they are the future of the nation.

Since a decade Don Bosco Navajeevan has been successful in making a difference in the lives of many Kids. Praveena, one of the beneficiaries said that; “she is studying 2nd year of intermediate just because of Don Bosco’s support. She then thanked Don Bosco Navajeevan for educating the underprivileged and giving a ray of hope to their life. She expressed joy and appreciated the efforts of Don Bosco Navajeevan for making a difference in the lives of the children.”
