Bosco Tech was formally opened to the public with the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon by the chief guest and other guests of honor present. The building was tastefully decorated with flowers and balloons to suit the occasion.

An inauguration-cum-cultural ceremony was organized in the multi-purpose hall of the building. The programme commenced by invoking of God’s presence through a prayer dance and ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest and other invited guests. Rev. Fr. Thomas Thottiyil, the Director extended a hearty welcome to all the valuable audience. A very short and sweet cultural show performed by Navajeevan boys attracted the gathering.

In his speech, His grace Bishop Prakash, briefly enumerated the milestones in the institution’s history since its creation in the archdiocese and different parts of the state. He has highlighted the dedicated service of the Salesians for the improvement of the poor young people in rural and urban areas by providing good education, skill training and job placement for the unemployed youth. He said: service-minded Bosco Tech sets an example by offering free training in Hospitality, Electricals, Computer (BPO), Tailoring, Spoken English, Video Editing and Soft Skills. Rev. Fr. Balaraju the Provincial, then addressing the gathering expressed his delight for the services flushed out by the Salesians for the youth in need.

The evening was concluded by sumptuous meal. Thus, the event was ended in an atmosphere of fondness and family spirit. We thank all our benefactors who joined their hands and hearts for making our dream come true.
